Short answer For most breastfeeding mums, Superlact Plus. It is a soy, oat or dates milk powder with fenugreek and milk thistle, all three flavours hold a JAKIM halal certificate valid to May 2028, and a box of 10 sachets is RM89. No drink replaces frequent feeding, so see a lactation consultant if supply worries you.

Why each one made the list
Best pick #1 Superlact Plus Milk Booster
Super Mama Lab · 10 × 30g sachets · supermamalab.store
Best for: Mums who want a dairy-free lactation drink in travel sachets.

#2 Anmum Materna
Anmum · 650g · Watsons, pharmacies
Best for: A dairy milk you can start in pregnancy and keep using while breastfeeding.
Why it's here: JAKIM certificate to 31 July 2028 for Anmum Materna Plain and Chocolate, registered as formulated milk powder for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. It is a nutrition drink, not sold as a milk booster.
#3 Matcharo Mama Pro+
Matcharo · 10 × 30g sachets · Watsons
Best for: A plant protein drink with dates and fenugreek at a lower price per sachet.
Why it's here: JAKIM lists Matcharo Mama Pro, a soy, pea and grain drink, to 31 December 2026. Watsons lists dates, fenugreek and astragalus with multigrain, one sachet in 150ml of warm water. It contains soy.
#4 Enfamama A+
Mead Johnson · 800g · pharmacies, Shopee
Best for: Mums who want a maternal milk with added DHA from a big infant nutrition brand.
Why it's here: Pharmacy listings describe it as a maternal milk for pregnancy and breastfeeding with DHA, folic acid, iron and calcium. We found no JAKIM listing, so the halal claim comes from a retailer.
#5 Similac Mom
Abbott · 900g · pharmacies, Shopee
Best for: The lowest price per gram among the tins on this list.
Why it's here: Listed at RM47.70 for 900g on Shopee. Retailers describe it as a low-fat maternal milk for pregnant and nursing mothers. It is not in JAKIM's directory, so the halal claim is the retailer's.

How we picked
We looked at milk drinks sold in Malaysia for breastfeeding mothers, in brand stores, Watsons and Shopee, then checked each one in JAKIM's halal directory on 18 October 2026. Products with their own JAKIM certificate rank above ones where only a retailer says halal. Then we ordered by ingredients, ease of use and price. We report what each brand claims and do not say any drink increases milk supply. Only 5 drinks had both a price we could see and a checkable fact, so this list has 5, not 10. Our method
Left out on purpose
- Anmum Lacta: Has a JAKIM certificate, but we found only one reseller at a very high price and expired sachets. It seems discontinued.
- Suffy Mommy: Listed by JAKIM, but we found no shop selling it.
- Able-Mama maternal and lactating formula: Listed by JAKIM, but we found no shop selling it.
- Nufiya Double Lact: A 3g superfood sachet, not a milk drink.
- Lactation cookies and bars: Not drinks, so outside this question.
